Terms and Conditions
-
Confidentiality: Gold Coast Doggy Daycare (hereafter referred to as "GCDD") recognises that it and its staff may come into contact with confidential information belonging to the client during the provision of services. GCDD commits to maintaining the confidentiality of such information and shall take all necessary steps to ensure that its staff adhere to these confidentiality obligations.
-
Health and Vaccination Requirements: The client guarantees that their dog(s) is up-to-date with all necessary vaccinations, including the current C5 vaccination, and treatments for ticks and fleas. Failure to meet these health requirements may result in termination of this agreement by GCDD, with retention of all fees paid.
-
Desexing and Heat: GCDD does not require desexing of dogs. However, any female dogs in heat are prohibited from attending the daycare during the heat period and for an additional two weeks after the last spotting.
-
Surveillance: GCDD operates surveillance cameras on its premises. These recordings are for internal use only and will not be made public, except as required by law.
-
Liability for Dog Injuries: The client acknowledges that GCDD is not responsible for any loss, injury, sickness, or death of a dog arising from negligence. In the event of an injury, the client authorizes GCDD to transport and seek emergency veterinary treatment for their dog at the client's expense.
-
Aggression and Behavior: If a dog displays aggression or behavioral issues towards other dogs or staff, GCDD reserves the right to remove the dog from play and potentially ban the dog from future attendance following a staff review. The client is responsible for informing GCDD of any known behavioral issues.
-
Veterinary Costs: Should the client's dog cause injury to another dog, the client will be liable for all veterinary and associated costs.
-
Dog Safety and Risks: While GCDD endeavors to ensure the safety of all dogs in its care, it cannot guarantee the safety of dogs from escape or loss. Responsibility for the dog's safety will revert to the owner in such cases.
-
Personal Property: GCDD is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property left within the facility.
-
Payments and Charges: The client agrees to pay all charges related to their dog's stay and any additional costs arising from incidents during their stay. Payments may be made in cash, by card in person, or by online card payment on or before the date of admittance. Late payments will incur a surcharge of $10 per day.
-
Late Arrivals and Cancellations: Clients failing to arrive within one hour of their booking without notification may forfeit their booking and incur a late fee. Cancellations with less than 12 hours notice and no-shows may be charged half of the fees. After-hours late pick-up will incur a fee of $17 for every 30 minutes past closing time.
-
Termination of Service: GCDD reserves the right to terminate services at any time if it is determined that the client’s dog poses a risk to the safety or health of others. All costs associated with alternative care will be the client’s responsibility.
-
Amendments to Terms: These terms and conditions are subject to change by GCDD. Continued use of GCDD's services after such changes will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
