OUR STAFF

“Hello everyone, my name is Tayla and I am the manager of Gold Coast Doggy Daycare. I have been working here since March 2021. You might see me running around yelling at the top of my lungs, having a ball with all of your fur babies! A little about me, I was a chef for 10 years while studying multiple certificates in the animal industry before working here. I am a foster mum to many dogs and a foster fail to two German Shepherds named Axel and Tilly. I also have a cat named Flower and 3 cockatiels. The best part of my job is watching the dogs and their owners running into the daycare with a smile on their face and a wagging tail each morning, and creating a close friendship with the clients.”

“Hi guys, my name is Riley and I’ve been here at Gold Coast Doggy Daycare since March 2021. I have completed my Certificate III in Animal Studies and am currently studying School Based Support Training to become a teacher’s aide. Before working here, I worked at a miniature goat farm where I discovered my love for working with animals. My favourite thing about working at the doggy daycare is seeing all the different types of personalities that come in. It really makes every day so much fun!”

“My name is Maddy and I’ve been here at Gold Coast Doggy Daycare since March 2022. I’m currently in my 3rd year of university studying a Bachelor of Primary Education, however, I have always had a soft spot for dogs and I have 5 years of experience in doggy daycares. My favourite thing about working at Gold Coast Doggy Daycare is meeting and building connections with all the dogs and clients that come in. I enjoy watching dogs build their confidence and show off their unique personalities.”

“Hi, my name is Maddi and I have been working at Gold Coast Doggy Daycare since January 2024. I’ve been working with animals on and off over the past 3 years and I have completed my Certificate 1 & 2 in Animals Studies. I have a fur baby my own, he is rescue beagle named Gadget! Working with animals is something I’ve always loved, seeing different faces and characteristics everyday brings me joy and happiness, not only the dogs but meeting the parents of their fur babies as well.”

“Hi, my name is Phoebe, I started in January 2024 as a casual at Gold Coast Doggy Daycare. A little bit about me is that I have grown up on a sheep and cattle station in central QLD so I have always had a strong love for animals. I am currently in my second year of my degree studying vet technology at UQ, where I am loving learning so much about all animals. My favourite thing about working at Gold Coast Doggy Daycare is seeing how excited and happy the dogs are everyday to play and make new friends!”

“Hello! My name is Emerald and I started here at Gold Coast Doggy Day Care in February 2024. Ever since I was a young girl I’ve known that I wanted to spend my life caring and working with animals (especially the doggies), it’s a passion that nothing else has matched for me. I have completed my cert ll in Animal Studies and am looking towards completing a certification in dog behaviour and training. What brings me the most joy about working at GC doggy daycare is meeting and getting to know you and all of your lovely fur babies, as well as making sure that they have the best time ever! Getting to watch them grow and build friendships will forever make me feel like I’ve got the luckiest job in the world!”
